Åbo Akademi i Vasa KDS is a karate club at Åbo Akademi i Vasa University.

AVKDS is situated in Vaasa, Finland, and it belongs to Finland KDS, the umbrella organization of all the KDS clubs in Finland. The club was founded in 2001 by Anders Eklund who was main instructor until 2007. From 2007 forward main instructor has been Jari Lähdesluoma who is also a member of the Finland KDS technical group. Assistant instructors are Malin Häggman 1 dan (Finland KDS vicechairman) and Simon Björkman 1 dan (Finland KDS chairman).
