Finland KDS - Karate Do Shotokai

MASTER MITSUSUKE HARADA - A TEACHER OF ORTHODOX SHOTOKAN KARATE

"Mitsusuke Harada was born in 1928, and joined the famous Shotokan dojo to train Karate in Tokyo in 1943, where he was taught by the father of modern Karate Gichin Funakoshi and legendary masters like  Motonobu Hironishi, Wado Uemura, Tadao Okuyama, Shigeru Egami and Yoshiaki Hayashi. Harada is also one of the few men still living who trained under Yoshitaka Funakoshi, a karateka of truly formidable reputation."

The KDS is an martial art organization committed to practicing and teaching Karate-do as taught by Master Mitsusuke Harada and the style is open to anyone with a genuine interest in learning karate.

The KDS is directly overseen by Master Mitsusuke Harada, who is, the Principal Instructor of the KDS Organization. The KDS was established in the U.K. in 1965 by Master Mitsusuke Harada. The Chrysanthemum logo and the KDS abbreviation are the officially recognized trademarks (TM) of Master Mitsusuke Harada's Organization, the KDS.

FKDS - Finland Karate Do Shotokai is head organization here in Finland, it was mainly formed of the necessity to get the technical knowledge, level and communication to equal level in all clubs.

FKDS oversees all the courses here in Finland which are held in various different member clubs in their cities. FKDS technical executives are responsible for the technical part of the courses held in Finland. Technical executives are also overseeing grading for all it's members.
